🧪 Research Experience

🐦 Heterogeneity Between Bird Retinas (Ongoing)

Role: Intern @ BGI & Graduation Thesis

Investigating cellular heterogeneity in avian visual systems using spatial transcriptomics.

  • Stereo-seq Analysis: Processing high-resolution spatial transcriptomics data.
  • Image Processing: Implemented cell segmentation and registration algorithms.
  • Network Analysis: Constructing Cell-Cell Communication networks to understand unique pathways.

🧬 Genomic Evolution Analysis

Role: Intern @ BGI

Participated in a large-scale primate genome evolution project.

  • Performed variant filtering and phylogenetic tree reconstruction.
  • Handled TB-level genomic data on Linux HPC clusters.

🧫 Lactic Acid Bacteria Genomics

Explored the genomic features of multiple bacterial strains.

  • Constructed gene copy-number matrices.
  • Applied Random Forest models to identify phylogenetically informative marker genes.
  • Analyzed correlation between genomic features and ANI-based distances.

🎓 Looking Forward

I plan to pursue graduate studies in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics.
My goal is to leverage cutting-edge algorithms to solve complex biological puzzles.
